Description:HR Compensation AnalystJob ID 6104 Location USA Houston Functional Area Human Resource Mgmt Department Employment Type Full-Time Regular Education Required Bachelors Degree Experience Required 3 - 5 Years Relocation Provided Position Description This role will provide specialist compensation support for BMC's global business, working as part of a 4-person team. The successful candidate will need to work with the HR Business Partner community on issues of compensation as they relate to the different businesses. We will be looking for candidates with a 'can-do attitude' and a bias for customer service. Working in a team environment, duties will include, but are not limited to:- ? Submits salary survey data on a global basis ? Participates in survey and industry user group meetings as needed ? Analyzes market data and pay of current employees ? Provides analysis relating to market movement, changes in pay approaches etc ? Develops salary structures and merit budgets ? Provides pre and post salary review metrics ? Provides Bonus distribution metrics and data ? Audits Oracle HR data and tables and maintains Oracle Job Table ? Generates and audits global compensation reports ? Responsible for administration and troubleshooting of web based compensation system ? Administers quarterly bonus processes via web based compensation system ? Meeting with HR Business Partners to articulate data and trending analysis. May also be required to meet with business leadership to convey similar information on a less frequent basis. ? Ensures compliance with applicable regulations. ? Connects with business leaders along with the HR Business Partner to understand needs pertaining to pay, benefits and reward programs. Position Requirements ? Likely to have at least 3 years specialist experience within the Compensation area ? Excellent analytical skills ? Excellent MS Excel and MS Access skills ? Strong verbal and written English skills - able to articulate market data and methodologies ? Working knowledge of Business Objects reporting, or similar reporting tool ?
