Description:United Way of King County (UWKC) seeks a highly talented individual to join our Human Resources Team. The individual selected will use his or her creative talents in helping to build a strong organizational culture of diversity and inclusion, and learning & development, and high performance expectations. The ideal candidate has prior successful experience leading organizational change initiatives, experience with 360 assessments and other behavioral instruments, coaching and counseling employees on a variety of human resources issues, including performance management. Additionally the person selected must be a skilled facilitator, with strong analytical, research data analysis and problem solving skills, and the ability to design and conduct employee climate/culture surveys and knowledge of HR competency models to support employee training and selection.The position requires a BA degree in Organization Development, Industrial Organization Psychology, Business Administration or a related discipline and five years equivalent work experience. A Masters degree in one of the above academic disciplines, SPHR certification and experience or ability to perform HR generalist work is highly desirable.
